KinRelay helps families coordinate care tasks such as medications, appointments, family circle membership, reminders, and activity history.

KinRelay is not a medical provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, display name, authentication identifiers, and session metadata.
• Family circle information: invited family member emails, display names, family role, invitation status, and membership status.
• Patient profile information entered by the user.
• Care coordination information: medications, schedules, statuses, appointments, notes, completion state, and reminders.
• Activity history: care actions, actor, affected item, timestamps, and structured metadata.
• Device/app diagnostics needed for beta diagnostics, sync troubleshooting, crash/error review, and reliability.

How We Use Information

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Sync care information across authorized family members.
• Send account emails such as signup confirmation and password reset.
• Show medications, appointments, activity history, and family circle state.
• Schedule local device reminders and notifications.
• Provide support, debug sync issues, improve reliability, and protect the app.

Sharing and Service Providers

KinRelay uses third-party service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, sync, and backend infrastructure; email delivery providers for account-related email; and Apple services for app distribution, TestFlight when used, notifications, and operating system services.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share user information with advertisers. Information may be visible to authorized members of the same family circle according to app roles and permissions.

Health and Care Information

KinRelay may store sensitive care coordination information entered by users, including medication and appointment details. Users should only enter information they are authorized to share with their family circle.

KinRelay is designed for coordination and reminders only. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment decisions, emergency care, or clinical monitoring.

Retention, Security, and Rights

We keep account and care coordination information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain sync, support family circle history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children's Privacy

KinRelay is intended for use by adults managing family care coordination. Children should not create accounts or use KinRelay without a parent or guardian.

International Users

Information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or other reasonable means.
