Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of KinRelay.

What KinRelay Does

KinRelay helps families coordinate care tasks, including medications, appointments, family circle membership, reminders, and activity history.

KinRelay is not a medical provider, emergency service, pharmacy, caregiver agency, or substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult qualified medical professionals for diagnosis, treatment, medication changes, and urgent care.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use KinRelay. If you use KinRelay on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have permission to enter and manage that person's information.

User Responsibilities

KinRelay reminders and activity history are coordination tools. They should not be treated as guaranteed alerts, medical instructions, or proof of clinical compliance.

Family Circles and Shared Information

Information in a family circle may be visible to authorized members according to their role and status. By inviting someone to a family circle, you understand that they may see care coordination information for that circle.

Owners can manage membership and certain patient profile information. Members may be able to create, edit, delete, or record operational care information depending on app permissions.

Prohibited Use

Account Emails and Notifications

KinRelay may send account-related emails such as signup confirmation and password reset messages. The app may also schedule local notifications on your device if you grant notification permission.

Notifications depend on device settings, operating system behavior, network conditions, and app configuration. KinRelay does not guarantee that reminders will always arrive at a specific time.

Availability and Changes

KinRelay may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update the app to improve reliability, security, or functionality.

Privacy

Your use of KinRelay is also governed by the KinRelay Privacy Policy.

No Medical Advice

KinRelay does not provide medical advice. If you believe someone may need urgent medical attention, contact emergency services or a qualified healthcare provider immediately.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KinRelay and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, missed reminders, incorrect user-entered information, unauthorized sharing by users, or reliance on KinRelay for medical decisions.

Termination

You may stop using KinRelay at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been violated, if required by law, or if continued access creates risk to users, the app, or third-party services.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or other reasonable means.
